Situated midway between Alicante and Valencia, let yourself be dazzled by nature as Calpe brings together the mountains and sea, beneath the embrace of the famous PeƱon de Ifach rock. Many visitors climb the Penon de Ifach and on reaching the top declare peace, freedom and an inseparable union with nature.

In the shadow of the rock nestles the Port of Calpe with its mixture of boats for all purposes. The picture is made complete by the large array of fish restaurants each displaying the day's catch. Free sangria and tapas are offered to entice the 'passer by' in, to sit and take his fill in the European style eating 'al fresco'.

Calpe has some of the best sandy beaches of the area, with a special mention being given to the "Playa de la Fossa" and "Playa de Levante" more than a kilometre long, both display the European Union Blue Flag. Running along side the beaches is an extensive promenade, with a wealth of bars, restaurants and shops. Soak up the atmosphere in the evenings with a relaxing walk along the promenade. Stopping wherever takes your fancy to chill out and enjoy the views across the bay. If you are looking for a frontline apartment with a fabulous sea view, this is one of the best places to be. We can offer a choice of properties in this area.

Calpe is blessed with 2 marinas. The main Club Nautico is close to the beach area, Peñon de Ifach and main fishing area with restaurants and its own club house. Out towards the edge of Calpe you can find the smaller Puerto Blanco, much quieter and obviously with fewer facilities than Club Nautico.

Market day is Saturday, when you can wander through the streets towards the old town and browse the stalls, everything is available from fresh fruit and vegetables, to clothing, home wares and shoes. Once up into the old town, you are met with narrow windy streets, full of history and interest.

The main town area of Calpe has mainly apartments and townhouses on offer. However, you don’t need to go too far away to find a choice of bungalows and villas to suit your needs. Many new modern properties are of offer, as well as the older more traditional style.
