Corpus Christi (Teulada - Moraira) In Teulada and Moraira. Procession and traditional dances. The procession of Corpus Christi, one of the oldest festivities of the Catholic Church, led by a group of the Grup de Danses Font Santa and arriving at the Plaça dels Porxes dance the "Ball dels Cavallets", a dance that symbolically represents the struggle between good and evil through the remembrance of the historical fact of protecting the coast from attacks by piracy. Each component carries a cardboard horse decorated with cloth and formed two rows of four people to proceed to the dance to the music of the Colla "El Falçó" of Teulada, which causes great admiration of the audience. At the end, there comes another group of Danses who interpret "El ball de Pastorets", and then the "Ball de les Vetes", a dance that consists of pulling different colored ribbons that they carry in their hands and that are born from a wooden stick topped by flowers, representing the May tree, the fruit tree.
